The
Green Game is a play that has songs
and dance numbers, all by Paul L. Johnson, and the play has been compared
to a Brecht play. It is the story of Senator
Nick Albright's fall from grace, and how
his own daughter, motivated by revenge,
lured her father into a counterfeiting
operation with con artists in Havana, Cuba.
The play is written in the style of a Greek
tragedy, with a chorus and choral odes.
It was performed Off-Broadway, at The Mint Theater in
New York City for 4 weeks, and produced
by La
Muse Venale Acting Troupe. The book contains an essay by the playwright about creating characters and a list of definitions of words used by con artists.
