Steven Gerard Farrell is a Professor of Speech Communication at Greenville Technical College in South Carolina. Farrell’s Irish Papers is a collection made-up of five essays, two short stories, two reviews and one stage play. Most of the pieces included in this book deal with Irish and Irish-American themes. The first two essays of this work (Mickey Machine Gun is Back! and Galloping Gallagher Deserves the Gallows!) have received multiple publications and they were formally inducted into the Irish Film Archives (Dublin, Ireland) in March of 2009.
